You can change your module, as long as you do so more than five weeks before the test date. There will be an administrative fee of AUD$20. You need to take your original passport and receipt to the IELTS Test Administration Centre.
Can I cancel my test?
Yes, you can, but you need to go to the reception office where you booked your test, take with you a valid passport and your original receipt, and complete the Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form (PDF, 64Kb)(opens in new window). If you cancel five weeks or more prior to the test, you will receive a refund, less a cancellation fee of AUD $82.50. If you cancel within the five week period, you will not receive a refund.
What do I need to bring to the test?
You are only allowed to take your passport, pencils, erasers and pencil sharpener into the test room. However, you may also take water in a clear (not coloured) transparent plastic bottle.
Where can I put my personal things?
All personal items will be stored in a box during the test. However, no responsibility will be taken for the loss of personal items on the test day and you are very strongly advised not to bring anything other than what you require to complete the test.
When will the results be available?
Your results will be available for collection between 8.30 am and 12.00 pm, on the 13th calendar day after the test. You may pick up the results in person and you must bring your original, valid passport as identification; or you can preview your results online through the IELTS Australia website. If you do not pick up your results after the centre closes at 12.00 pm they will be posted on the next working day to the current address we have for you.
How can I change my address?
You should either email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or complete the Change of Address form which you will find on your desk on the test day.
Can I get a reprint of my results?
You will receive only one copy of your results. However, if you complete the appropriate section on your application form, we can send a copy directly to approved government agencies or educational institutions. We cannot send copies to friends, family or immigration lawyers/agents. A fee of AUD$20.00 will be charged for copies requested after the test and you must complete the Application for the Issue of Additional TRFs (PDF, 38Kb)(opens in new window). If you want your results to be sent to an overseas institution, you must provide an addressed, prepaid envelope.
Can I apply for a re-mark?
Yes, you can. You must complete an IELTS Enquiry on Results Form (PDF, 39Kb)(opens in new window) within six weeks of the test date and submit it to the UWS IELTS Test Administrator. The re-mark fee is AUD$176 and you must also attach your original Test Result Form to the re-mark form. It will take six to eight weeks for the re-mark to be processed.
