Communicating in English

CRICOS Code 060789E

Communicating in English is a general English program designed for people who have very limited English and want to learn how to communicate effectively in the English language. Its goal is to develop English proficiency from a beginner level through to an advanced level so students can interact confidently in everyday society.

Each intake runs for a block of 10 weeks; however, students do not have to enrol for the full ten weeks. Students can choose to attend for any number of weeks, and will move on to the next level of English language study based on the results they achieve during their period of study and the course requirements for the next level of study. Students move up through the levels of this course until they have reached the level of English required to enter the Academic English for Tertiary Studies course.

Students do no have to start the 10-week block on the first day of the block; they can start on any Monday within the 10-week block.
